Hon George Pellew (Very Rev.), b. 3 Apr. 1793, bapt.12 Apr. 1793 Mylor, Cornwall, d. 13 Oct. 1866, (aged 73), buried at Norwich Cathedral, Norfolk. MA, (Master of Arts) Corpus Christi College, Oxford, 1818; DD., (Doctor of Divinity) Dean of Norwich 1828-66, prebendary of York and rector of Great Chart Kent, 1852-66, Theologian, holding also other preferment's; wrote sermons and tracts, and published (1847) the life of his father-in-law, Henry Addington, first Viscount Sidmouth. m. 20 June 1820 Saint James's, Westminster, London, Frances Addington (d. 27 Feb. 1870), 2nd dau. of Henry Addington, 1st Viscount Sidmouth
